Rootblock Root Barrier
Rootblock is a high performance root barrier developed for a broad spectrum of indigenous trees and shrubs. The product has been specifically designed for use as a root barrier, where an ultra strong, durable, robust membrane is needed.
Rootblock Root Barrier derives its strength and puncture resistance from its laminated composite construction: it has a high strength woven HDPE core laminated, both sides, to a UV stabilised LDPE carrier layer. This gives exceptional resistance to root penetration and has a very high burst strength. It has been designed and manufactured with the Environment Agencies ‘Knotweed Code of Practice’ as the primary driving force. This ensures that is capable of almost every imaginable use as a root barrier.
