Vicki Goldsmith has recently hit her 3-month mark at Geosynthetics Ltd. Vicki is one of the new additions to our sales team working as Internal Sales.

As a key role in our sales team Vicki deals with incoming enquiries and orders. Vicki is building strong relationships with our customers and works with our engineering team on projects to find out the best solutions and products for our customers.

We asked Vicki a few questions about herself so we could find out more about her.

What did you do before you joined Geosynthetics Ltd?

I previously worked as a Senior Agent at Cemex, providing Internal Sales and Technical Support for Ready-mix Concrete in the Southern and London regions.

What made you join Geosynthetics Ltd?

I was looking for a new challenge but wanted to remain within the construction industry, Geo was the best fit for me and would give me the chance to learn new products and applications. In my previous role I had moved away from sales and more into the technical side and reporting and I wanted to get back into the sales aspect. When I came for an interview I got a really good vibe off everyone in the office and it’s just down the road from my house!

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Working as a team to convert a project from design stage through to an order, catching up with the team on all projects to see where we stand and what we can do to get that order in. I really like how everyone here is so supportive of each other, everyone is always willing to go that extra mile to help someone out even if it’s just the little things like helping with their calls or quotes!

When you are not in the office what do you enjoy doing?

I enjoy catching up with my family and friends, I also have a love of spin classes. I love taking the dogs out for long walks in the countryside whatever the weather and drinking Gin.
