This week Geosynthetics Ltd welcomed Harvey Webb as he completed a week’s work experience. Harvey has recently completed his A levels and is currently unsure as to whether he would like to attend university or go into full time employment. Geosynthetics was more than happy to offer Harvey the chance to complete a full week experience, in which he’d sit with each department and gain a better understanding into what their job entails and whether it is something that interests him or not.

Harvey stated ‘The reason I wanted to gain work experience at Geosynthetics Ltd was because I was unsure of my career options. Before I visited, I didn’t know how companies worked or what each of the different roles involved. After spending time shadowing and learning from each department I now have a better understanding of the job positions and what I would like to do in the future. I found every role interesting, but marketing and operations stood out, and I may now pursue a career in one of these positions, all because of the experience and insight that Geosynthetics Ltd gave to me.
