Geosynthetics Ltd are happy to announce that Luckeet Rathod has joined our Engineering Team.

As part of his role, Luckeet will be offering engineering assistance and advice to our sales team and customers. Luckeet will also be creating Technical Recommendations and working closely with senior members of our Engineering Team to develop his current skills and learn new ones.

We asked Luckeet a few questions to find out more about him.

What experience/education do you have within this industry?

I studied Civil Engineering at Coventry University. During this time, I was taught the module called geotechnics, where I learned about ground conditions and how a building relies upon the foundations for it to be built and what needs to be considered when loads are applied to ground conditions.

What made you join Geosynthetics Ltd?

The opportunity to develop my theoretical knowledge in a practical manner and to gain an insight and overview of how engineering companies work. Geo also gives me a chance to progress in the future as I learn more about the company and its products.

What do you enjoy most about what you do?

Being able to use some of the skills that I have learnt at university, especially software’s like AutoCAD.

How would you describe yourself?

A friendly individual that enjoys the opportunity to work with others.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I enjoy sporting occasions (football, tennis, table tennis), competing against other people in strategic games like pool, going to the gym to develop my physique and watching survivalist shows/series.
