Geosynthetics Ltd would like to introduce our new sales manager, Dawn Chater. Dawn has joined Geosynthetics Ltds management team and her main responsibilities include supporting the sales team and ensuring we are offering our customers the best experience possible. We asked Dawn a few questions to give her the opportunity to introduce herself to all of our customers and help you get to know her better.

What previous experience/education do you have?

I have over 15 years people management experience within FMCG/Field Marketing industry and just recently 2 years construction experience.

What made you join Geosynthetics Ltd?

Geosynthetics Ltd are the market leading company in the geosynthetic supplier field and hold the silver Investors in people, which is very close to my heart and shows the values of the company.  I enjoy people management and helping a team develop and really loving working within the construction industry, so this role is a win/win.

What do you enjoy the most about what you do?

I enjoy achieving results along with helping develop people to achieve their own personal goals. Geosynthetics Ltd has a great team and great core values and I’m excited to see it develop further.

How would you describe yourself?

I’m very much a family person. Hardworking with a good sense of humour and I enjoy a few gins!!

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Walking my 2 Border Terriers.  Watching shows in London, as well as days out in any city around the UK and socialising. Also, I must admit I have a secret passion for football and had a bit of a starstruck moment when I once met Peter Andre in a restaurant in Fulham where he was on the next table eating with his brothers!  He was lovely and came over and chatted with us for a while.

What is your favourite film?

Grease.  It is even better when you are watching it again with your children!

What is your favourite meal and where is the best place to eat it?

Seabass – The best place I have eaten it was in Maratea in Italy
