Today marked the start of Innovation week for Leicester and Leicestershire. The week of free events offers a chance for businesses, universities and business support organisations to work together and showcase the City and the County as a hub for innovation.

Representing Geosynthetics Ltd our CSR Consultant Gary McDermott attended the Launch event this morning at Mira Technology Institute.

A number of inspirational speakers including Kevin Harris LLEP Chair and Marion Plant OBE addressed the assembled audience and outlined opportunities for collaborations and growth for local enterprise.

Gary said the event was really informative, a good opportunity to hear from innovation experts and network with like-minded business people.
