After only 4 years of using a grass and gravel paving system in one of their car parks, Loughborough University identified that it had begun to crack and split. Not only was the existing car park surface becoming unsafe, it was aesthetically unpleasant.

The university approached Geosynthetics for a solution. After receiving a full onsite technical evaluation, Golpla was suggested and an agreed trial area was selected.

Following a 4 month trial in a high trafficked area of the car park, Golpla proved its integrity and the rest of the car park was completed using Golpla.
