Geosynthetics Ltd would like Maeve Cullen as the most recent addition to the already talented Grass Protection Team. Maeve joined late last year and has already implemented herself as a vital part of the success of the department.

We sat down with Maeve and asked her a few questions to get to know her a little better, check out her answers below.

1. What previous experience/education do you have?

I studied Civil and Environmental Engineering back home in Seattle, and since then I’ve worked in the industry designing and specifying paved roads and permeable paved drainage schemes.

2. What made you join Geosynthetics Ltd?

I was looking for a new opportunity when Robyn presented her Seminar for my previous company and I became more familiar with Geosynthetics. The company values aligned with my own and everyone is incredibly friendly here.

3. What do you enjoy the most about what you do?

I always enjoy solving new problems and working with an individual to find solutions for their specific needs.

4. How would you describe yourself?

Bubbly, sincere, and friendly.

5. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

A little bit of everything from rock climbing, knitting, hiking, to drinking a whiskey or two!

6. What is your favourite film?

The Rock (a 1996 action thriller starring Sean Connery and Nicholas Cage, what’s not to like?)

7. What is your favourite meal and where is the best place to eat it?

Thai noodle dish Pad Kee Mao, which translates as Drunken Noodles.
