Congratulations to Dan Ridout
In September 2014, Dan was the recipient of the inaugural Geosynthetics Ltd Student Development Award.
After working two weeks with us in that September he took up his place at Plymouth University to study for a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Every summer Dan returned to Hinckley and completed a four-week placement with our Engineering Team and regularly paid us a visit whenever he was home for the holidays. It would be true to say that within this time Dan has become a recognised and valuable member of the team, contributing to and completing a number of high-profile projects.
He is though currently working his final placement at Geosynthetics Ltd as he has graduated with a first-class honours degree and managed to secure a position with Mott Macdonald.
Dan said “My time with Geosynthetics Ltd has given me an excellent foundation on which to continue my career as a Civil Engineer. The experience I gained at Geosynthetics Ltd has enabled me to seek new opportunities within the industry, and I am extremely grateful for all the time that has been dedicated to me during the Student Development Award.”
We are very proud of what Dan has achieved and wish him well as he embarks on his Career as a Civil Engineer.
