This morning Geosynthetics Ltd welcomed a group of students from John Cleveland 6^th Form Centre. The group were a mix of potential engineering undergraduates interested in applying for our Student Development Award and members of the Career Academy Programme. The open day was designed to give the students an insight to our company, the world of work and the career opportunities available in businesses like ours.

The students met members from various departments within our team including our Chairman Chris Foxton, Managing Director Tracy Woods and Operations Manager Melissa Vaughan. The students were then given an introduction to our company, what we do, our product offerings and were presented to by our Engineering team, apprentices and our CSR Consultant. Students were given a guided tour of the premises and shown all the various departments including the warehouse and main working office.

The day finished with a buffet lunch which gave the students an opportunity to ask any questions they had to the members of our team.

We are delighted for the opportunity to showcase our company and hopefully offer useful advice to students with regard to their further careers and education.
