Today is the start of National Apprenticeship week!

Geosynthetics Ltd strongly believe in the success of apprenticeships for companies and young people. As a company we have had several apprentices join us in recent years and all of those who have now finished their apprenticeships have gone on to join Geosynthetics Ltd as permanent members of the team. Not only does being an apprentice with Geosynthetics help the apprentices grow and learn in a friendly business environment but they have also added value to our team since they have joined.

Below are some quotes from our past and present apprentices.

“Since joining Geosynthetics Ltd straight from school in 2015 the company has continuously supported me through the two apprenticeships I have completed in level 3 and level 4 digital marketing. As I was only 16 when I first started I struggled to transition from school life to work but the company were understanding and offered me the guidance I needed to grow, progress and kick start my professional career.” – Conor Rowe, Marketing Assistant

“I have been at Geosynthetics Ltd for 6 months and I am the most recent apprentice to join the team. I am really enjoying my apprenticeship with the company as the team are very helpful with any questions I have and they are really supportive. I like the fact that alongside being taught things in the workplace I am getting a qualification as well.” – Drew Gray, Administration Apprentice

“I found that being an apprentice with Geosynthetics was a great way of learning the skills required at college, whilst gaining valuable experience with on the job training. Having the support of Geosynthetics throughout my exams and being able to relate it to my responsibilities at work helped greatly with the completion of my qualification. This all lead to my current position with Geosynthetics as an Accounts Assistant and being Level 4 AAT qualified.” – Simone Carter, Accounts Assistant
