On Tuesday 20^th February Geosynthetics Ltd welcomed students from John Cleveland 6^th Form Centre. Students were a mix of potential engineering undergraduates interested in applying for our Student Development Award and members of the Career Academy Programme. The open day was designed to give students an insight into the world of work and showcase a number of career opportunities. Students were introduced to members of the team including Chairman Chris Foxton and given an introduction to the Company, the work we do and our product offering. Our Engineering Team gave a number of presentations detailing the work they do and offered advice on university life and courses. Our HR and Finance team gave a presentation about their work and our apprenticeship schemes and then outlined specific opportunities available within the Company. Students were also given a guided tour of the premises and shown all the various departments including the warehouse and main working office.

Finally, over a buffet lunch students had the opportunity to mix with members of our team and ask any questions they might have.

We are delighted for the opportunity to showcase our company and hopefully offer useful advice to students with regard to their further careers and education.
