RHS Publishes Report – Why Greening Grey Britain is important?
A report commission by the Royal Horticultural Society has revealed that;
- 3 times as many front gardens have been paved over compared to 10 years ago.
- Nearly 54% of the total surface area of front gardens is hard surfacing which has led to an increase of 15 square miles of hard surfaces which is equivalent to 4.5 million gardens.
