This year’s chosen charities are Georgie’s Gift and Adapt

With only two days until the annual Hansam Group fundraiser day, everyone in and around the office is beginning to grow in excitement.  Only natural given the amount of games, challenges and prizes we have, including the raffle, tombola and themed games with it all being rounded off with the annual ‘Hansam Quiz’.

Alongside all of this fun and excitement there is a serious side and everyone knows why we are participating and raising money. Georgie’s Gift strives to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of Meningitis and Septicaemia, advising families of the correct vaccinations to protect their children, and ultimately helping the local community, families and hospitals who are in need of a little ‘gift’. Whilst Adapt is a small charity who provide support to families with premature and unwell babies on the neonatal units at Leicester Royal Infirmary and Leicester General Hospital. They also provide ongoing care after families have gone home.

All of us at the Hansam Group are looking forward to the day and giving back to our local communities by supporting Georgie’s Gift and Adapt, two very worthwhile causes.
